Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. Pi Psi Lambda Chapter in collaboration with the Quincy Alpha Education and Leadership Foundation, Inc. hosts an annual Golden Gala. The event supports scholarship for youth and community outreach initiatives in Gadsden County, FL and Decatur County.

The Alpha Spirit recognizes individual(s) or an organization who's actions and efforts within the community align with the Fraternity's mission, objectives, and aims.
The Alpha Service award recognize(s) individual(s) or an organization with a proven and impactful record of service with the service area of the Pi Psi Lambda chapter.
Roderick G. Palmer Brother of the Year award recognizes an Alpha man who best embodies the mission of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.
